ASICS has announced the launch of the NOVABLAST™ 4 shoe, marking a significant update in their popular running shoe series. The NOVABLAST™, first introduced in 2020, has rapidly grown to become one of ASICS’ fastest expanding franchises globally. This latest iteration promises to elevate the running experience for both professional athletes and recreational runners.

Enhanced Performance with Sustainable Innovation

The NOVABLAST™ 4 features the innovative FF BLAST™ PLUS ECO foam, delivering the signature bounce and responsiveness that runners have come to expect from the series. This foam, made from at least 20% bio-based materials sourced from renewable resources like sugar cane waste, underscores ASICS’ commitment to environmental responsibility. Additionally, the NOVABLAST™ 4 will be the first in the series to be CO2e labelled, offering transparency in ASICS’ sustainability efforts.

Design and Comfort Upgrades

Alongside the advanced foam technology, the NOVABLAST™ 4 boasts a trampoline-inspired outsole for maximum bounce and improved grip on various surfaces. The shoe’s durability is also enhanced, making it a reliable choice for runners. The shift from an engineered mesh upper to an engineered woven upper, coupled with an upgraded stretch guested constructed tongue, ensures increased breathability and comfort.

Availability and Price

The NOVABLAST™ 4 is available for both men and women in ASICS retail and online stores, as well as specialist running outlets globally, starting December 1, 2023. The shoe is priced at 150€.
