The latest Asus ROG gaming laptop lineup was officially introduced during CES 2021. One of the most striking products in the lineup is the ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE, a dual-screen gaming laptop with a slick performance.
Design
The ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE is a dual-screen laptop. It is equipped with a second screen called ScreenPad Plus, which is integrated and has several functions to support both productivity and performance when playing games.
ScreenPad Plus isn’t just a second screen. Users can control live streaming applications or view walkthroughs and guides while playing games on the main screen with the touchscreen feature.
For content creators, the ScreenPad Plus on the ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE can be used as a canvas or even an additional control tool thanks to its direct integration support feature with Adobe creative applications.
Specs
The ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE is powered by the latest processors, AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080. This laptop also comes in two screen options: a 300Hz FHD panel with a 100% sRGB color gamut or a 4K panel 120Hz which has a 100% Adobe RGB color gamut.
Not only that, the use of a new cooling module with five heat pipes and the use of liquid metal as a thermal compound makes the cooling performance of the ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE even better than the previous generation.
This laptop can also maximize RAM usage up to 32GB, PCIe M.2 2280 SSD type storage up to 2TB. Besides, the ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE also has the default Microsoft Windows 10 Professional (64-bit) operating system.
Other features include Intel Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), Bluetooth 5.1, HDMI 2.0b, USB 3.2 Type C (Gen 2), 3x USB 3.2 Type A (Gen 2).
The ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE has a Chiclet Per – RGB keyboard backlight that helps users in dark or low light conditions.
Price and Availability
The marketing period of ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE has already started since early this year. The gaming laptop, which has a battery with a maximum capacity of 90 Whr, is tagged with a price tag of $ 2,899.
