Bang & Olufsen has added a new speaker to its premium portable BeoSound speaker lineup called the Beosound Explore.
Intended to be an outdoor speaker, the Beosound explore packs a tough body frame that’s small, light, and compact – making it easy to bring everywhere on your journey.
Other than being compact and light, the aluminum frame body of the Beosound Speaker is claimed to be scratch-resistant.
The speaker also comes with IP67 water and dust resistance certification. So you won’t have to worry about rain and water splashes during your outdoor adventure.
In terms of the design, the cylindrical design of the BeoSound Explore makes it look like a soda can. It comes with a body diameter of 81mm and measures 124mm in height.
Thanks to the aluminum body materials, the BeoSound Explore is also pretty light, weighing only about 631 grams including the built-in hook to attach anywhere.
To produce premium sound, BeoSound Explore brings two 1.8-inch full-range drivers. The sound driver is claimed to provide 360-degree sound as well as powerful bass beats.
Meanwhile, for connectivity, Beosound Explore supports Bluetooth 5.2 connections and also supports fast-pairing technology from Apple, Google, and Microsoft.
The BeoSound speaker is powered by a battery that can be used for up to 27 hours on a single charge. The charging only takes around 2 hours.
