Ten years after Bowers & Wilkins added mobile products to the audio portfolio for the first time, the British present a noble new addition: The PX7 Carbon Edition.
The headphone design uses specially developed 43.6 mm drivers, created and tuned by Bowers & Wilkins. It wanted to convince with a classic, black design made of carbon fiber composite materials, which should stand for maximum strength and resistance. There are also diamond-cut details on the two ear pads.
The headphones weigh 302 grams and offer unmatched sound with adaptive, individually adjustable noise cancellation. Soft ear pads should ensure the best wearing comfort and a noble feel.
The ear cups are equipped with proximity sensors so that when any of them is tilted, the music playback is automatically paused and resumed when the earpiece is brought back to the head. Besides, one button will connect to the voice assistant Siri or Google.
Above all, Bowers & Wilkins provide true sound quality, offering maximum resolution while maintaining total neutrality and tonal balance.
In the accompanying application, the user can choose the Ambient-Pass-Through function, which allows them to hear some ambient sounds without removing the headphones.
The PX7 Carbon Edition supports the latest wireless codecs, including the recently introduced Bluetooth aptX Adaptive technology. The PX7 has high-resolution radio technology in 24-bit / 48kHz streaming quality and active noise canceling with a 16-fold sampling rate to guarantee undisturbed music enjoyment.
The Bowers & Wilkins PX7 Carbon Edition headphones’ operating time is 30 hours when fully charged (with ANC on). Thanks to the quick charge function, connecting the headphones to the power source for 15 minutes extends the working time by another five hours.
