Google recently announced the presence of Pixel 5 in a virtual event called “Launch Night In” which is broadcast via the official YouTube channel.
Google Pixel 5 has a 6.0-inch screen with FHD + resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and supports 90Hz Smooth Display refresh rate capability. Besides, the display is supported with HDR technology which can present amazing color details of up to 16 million colors.
Google Pixel 5 has dimensions of 144.7 x 70.4 x 8.0 mm which are relatively compact and fit. Moreover, the weight is quite light which is around 151g. The phone is available in two color variants, Just Black and Sorta Sage.
The Google Pixel 5 loses its telephoto lens and is now equipped with a dual camera with a 12.2MP main lens configuration (1.4um with Google AI and OIS features) and a 16MP ultrawide lens (f / 2.2). Interestingly, Pixel 5’s main camera can record videos in 4K resolution at 60 fps.
Meanwhile, the front camera of the Pixel 5 uses a punch-hole style 8MP lens located in the upper left corner.
The 5 G Smartphone is packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G intermediate chipset that is already integrated with the Adreno 620 GPU. The phone is also backed by 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM with an internal storage capacity of 128GB.
The Google Pixel 5 is packing a 4,080 mAh battery which is quite durable with 18W fast charging capability and wireless charging.
As for its features, the smartphone gets a Proximity, Gyrometer, and Magnetometer sensor, as well as a conventional fingerprint sensor on the back of the case. There’s also NFC, Wi-Fi 5, GPS, and Google Cast.
Google Pixel 5 is already available since September 30 for $ 699.
