Earlier this year, OnePlus has officially introduced its latest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro.
As the name suggests, these two phones are successors to the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro which were released back in 2020.
Both phones have received plenty of improvements, not only in specs but also in features. However, this article will be talking about the pro version of the new phone.
One of the specifications of the OnePlus 9 pro that received a major upgrade is the camera.
Collaborating with Hasselblad, the Swedish camera company, the camera on the phone comes with a significant improvement in shooting pictures and videos.
The camera on the OnePlus 9 Pro comes bears a 48-megapixel main camera with an IMX789 sensor measuring 1 / 1.4 inches, which is a direct collaboration with Sony.
Not only that, but it also packs a very special 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a Sony IMX766 sensor for the rear camera.
Complementing the camera system is an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with a 3.3x optical zoom and a 2-megapixel monochrome camera.
In terms of video shooting, the OnePlus 9 Pro can record with a maximum resolution of up to a 4k 120fps recording mode.
When it comes to the screen resolution, the OnePlus Pro packs a 6.7 inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1440p and a maximum brightness level of 1,300 nits.
The panel adopts LTPO (low-temperature polycrystalline oxide) technology, which adjusts the refresh rate between 1Hz – 120Hz to increase battery life while still providing a smooth user experience.
Performance-wise, the OnePlus Pro 9 offers a Snapdragon 888 chipset for the processor with 8 GB or 12 GB RAM, and internal storage with a capacity of 128 GB or 256 GB.
It runs on a 4,500 mAh battery capacity that supports fast charging with a maximum output of 65 W. The OnePlus pro comes with wireless charging as a standard feature.
There are also optional accessories that support wireless charging with an output of 50 W. This way it only takes about 43 minutes to have a full charge.
