Realme officially launched its two newest smartphones, Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro, in India. The tagline #capture infinity is the main attraction of the Realme 8 Pro. Is it that good?

Specs

In terms of specifications, Realme 8 Pro is undoubtedly very suitable to compete in the middle-class market. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 720G chipset and RAM capacity with 6 GB and 8 GB options.

Realme 8 Pro 4

There is 128 GB of internal storage space, and even if it is lacking, there is still a MicroSD slot with a large capacity. With these specs, Realme promises good gaming performance on their brand-new smartphones.

 

Display and Battery

Moving on to the Realme 8 Pro screen, it has a Super AMOLED panel measuring 6.4 inches Full HD +. It still packs a 60Hz refresh rate but with a 180Hz touch sampling rate.

The Realme 8 Pro is supported by a 4,500 mAh battery with 50W fast charging that is also ready to pamper its owner. Plus, the company also put on fast charging technology that is able to charge up to 100% in just 47 minutes.

 

Camera

Realme 8 Pro carries a 108MP Samsung HM2 sensor with a pixel size of 0.7um and supports 9-in-1 binning. It also has a large 1 / 1.52 inch and an aperture of f / 1.9. With this sensor, Realme 8 Pro has the ability to zoom up to 3x and reliable when shooting in dark conditions.

Along with a 108 MP camera, there is an 8 MP ultra-wide camera with 119 degrees of view, 2 MP macro lens, and 2 MP B&W. For selfies, a 16 MP front camera is provided.

 

Price and Availability

The Realme 8 Pro has a price tag of ₹ 17,999 (~ $ 245) and is already available locally in India. Meanwhile, the regular variant of the Realme 8 is on sale starting at ₹ 14,999 (~ 205).
